Love, Happiness and Hard-work Lives here...amongst other things.

We haven’t done this catching up feature in a while asingene emxholweni.

New Music alert!!! New music sensation Olothando Ndamase from Mount Ayliff is set to release his first Afro-Pop album next month. Olothando (what a beautiful name) dropped out of his BSc Computer Science Degree at University Of Johannesburg to pursue a singing career and he is confident his music career will soar… While we wait for his album titled Mpumelelo Ndibize to drop , catch his latest single Ndiphendule which is on high rotation at radio stations nationwide. I hope Olothando will go back to school to finish his degree some day.

Speaking of new things, the oh so real Living The Dream with Somizi is back on our screens for a second season on Mzansi Magic. I watched last night’s episode which was okay-ish. I’m not a fan of reality shows, I’m not promising I will watch other episodes. Kodwa ke I can see Somz has grown, it showed on last night’s episode and growth is always admirable to see. On the show’s promo  Somizi says something like being a public figure makes him feel exposed  (or vulnerable or something of that sort)… then the inner lemony in me says why are you still allowing the public in your life and space if it makes you feel exposed?

Moving on to positive things, our rumour mill says rapper Slikour is tying the knot to long time girlfriend later this year… in October to be exact. He will be following in the footsteps of abo Shugasmaxks , Kwesta, HHP and the likes. Siyabavuyela wethu, umtshato is a beautiful institution.

Remember this?… mmmmhhh

I have been always wanting to talk about The Queen guys. How incredible are actors and the story line is intriguing. You see I have grown to watch tv in between doing other things around my crib, I don’t have time to sit down watch tv but when The Queen comes on I sit and watch.

I love all the character’s thus far, Dineo Moeketsi uyang’chaza vah. Big ups Ferguson’s! The Queen comes on Monday – Thursday  (soon to include Fridays) at 21:00 on Mzansi Magic.

The past weekend while I was channel hoping I came across Isithembiso which I’m adding to my shows to watch. Isithembiso is brought to us by Bomb productions abo Angus no Tebogo, I love the mixture of old and new talent they’re bringing to the fore.

Isithembiso has that Yizo-Yizo element which most of us can relate to, Chichi Letswalo is back looking hot playing wife to one underrated yet incredible actor Hamilton Dlamini they’re also giving Meshack Mavuso another chance, I like it. Unearthing new talent is commendable! My 19:30 slot has been taken by Isithembiso.

Guys have you ever been dikwad by a tv ad? I have and that ad is none other than Head and shoulders latest offering shampoo range for people with ethnic hair… meaning black people.

I just hate everything about this tv ad, It looks/sounds rushed or like an incomplete low budget project, not to mention the voice over’s. Iyadika la ad shem.

Igazi is back! Sunday evenings will never be the same again. Igazi is another production of the Ferguson’s… I take this back, I doubt I will have time to watch Igazi anymore. This witchcraft business is one of those things that are not my thing. Great acting!

Your turn!

  1. This Olothando Ndamase kid is good, thanks Zeeba but I can’t find the Ndiphendule single on YouTube *sad* I only got uNdofika nini,Ngeke umfumane and Mpumelelo ndibize. Great songs.

The Queen ineentsuku zayo kum, inabo ubuSlow obuthize but Brutus is always on fire I like his IDC character. Isithenbiso is also great,I was sad ngokuphela kweGreed and desire but Isithembiso is filling the gap perfectly.

Igazi litoo much kuleseason,ooJonga abavuka ekufeni, amakati athethayo?? Hay ngeke sbali! But I watch it anyway.. And then there’s Uyangthanda na ,hahahH people are brave hey! Yhuu ha.a
